📖 Overview

Fluorite is called the Genius Stone for good reason — it boosts mental clarity, focus, and learning ability. Its name comes from the Latin fluere, meaning to flow, because it melts easily. It is one of the most colorful minerals, often showing multiple colors in a single specimen (rainbow fluorite). Under UV light, many fluorites glow — this is where the word fluorescent comes from.

🔍 How to Identify

Distinguish from: Amethyst (harder, different crystal shape), Glass (no cleavage, too perfect), Calcite (different cleavage, softer)
